The wiki page says:
"You will need the version of mr in squeeze or later to use mr -p; 
in lenny you can use mr -c .mrconfig checkout. 
With mr 1.00 and above, the "-p" is unnecessary."


Nevertheless it should be possible to use that git repo with the
mr from squeeze, I hope?
