Re: Should I abandon Athena for Motif/LessTif?
We are investigating options for GUIs and toolkits to use on a MIPS-based
PDA running Linux.
The Athena widget set is attractive due to its
(relatively) small size - ie library size and run-time memory requirements
of applications.
The V framework seems to be the best way to build X/Athena applications.
We haven't yet decided which way to go (or even if we should try to run X
at all), but if we choose this route, we'd prefer V to continue to support
Athena.
