version 1.17, os/2

I have been completely unable to get V to work in os/2.

Compiler: watcom 10
OS: OS/2 warp, version 3, fix 38

I can compile the lib, and programs with no errors (lots of
warnings), but they don't do anything. Nothing pops onto the
screen. Even for the most stripped down program (proto app, test,
tutor).

Are alot of warnings a normal thing?

Stuff like:
h:\watcom\v\include2\v\vcmd.h(33): Warning! W014: (col 60) no reference
to symbol 'val'
h:\watcom\v\include2\v\vcmd.h(33): Note! N392: (col 60) 'int val' in
'void vCmd::SetCmdVal( int, ItemSetType )' defined in:
h:\watcom\v\include2\v\vcmd.h(33) (col 38)

I have to use watchcat to kill the remnants of the program.

I've tried using a project file that came from a working version,
I fiddled with almost every flag, and the same results.

I reinstalled watcom.

Now I'm at a loss.
