I have forked the salsa repo to debian namespace and invited you.
I know the package is already uploaded, but is this a hard requirement for you? I would prefer to have it under my own namespace.

Kind of. If (when) you become unresponsive and someone else is taking
over the package, we can keep that.
Not sure if I agree with you on this one, you proved yourself how easy
it is to move the repository, this will be just as easy if I become
unresponsive at a later time.
Most of my worries is because of [1]. By placing it in the Debian
namespace it is now in the "Debian Team" where every DD can do
whatever they want.

I would really like to keep it that way. Please tag the uploaded
version when it has arrived in the archive.
Will do.

I will keep the repo in the Debian namespace for now and not push
this further, but personally I feel that demanding packages to be
part of a team isn't the best approach.
