I think pushing is OK.

Since I have uploaded the package and FTP Masters already accepted it
I close this bug.

Regarding the package, providing a symbols file would be nice. :-)

Feel free to ping me on ask for sponsorship on debian-science in the
future, there is no
need to file formal RFS-s to BTS if there are people who regularly
sponsor upload for you. :-)
