Bug#797864: RFS: eclipse-titan/5.3-1 [ITP]

Hi, I don't think I'll sponsor this package, if you really care you might want to get in touch with
the pkg-java-maintainers list, and get help there.

https://qa.debian.org/developer.php?login=pkg-java-maintainers@lists.alioth.debian.org

Anyway, something you need to fix:

1) open an itp bug
2) start using other places e.g. mentors.d.o to get your package uploaded
3) do not use UNRELEASED as target distro

4) not mentioning essential packages like build-essential in your control file.
5) architecture: amd64? why? is this a package for amd64 only?
6) machine readable copyright (not requested, but nice to have)
7) a Makefile instead of overriding dh_auto_install might be good, specially for upstream
and other distros.

the other stuff might be looking good, but I didn't check lintian and a built package.

cheers,

G.

Package: sponsorship-requests

Dear mentors,

I am looking for a sponsor for my package "eclipse-titan":

Package name : eclipse-titan
Version : 5.3-1
Upstream Author : Eclipse Foundation
URL : www.eclipse.org
License : Eclipse Public License - v 1.0
Section : utils

It builds this binary package:

eclipse-titan

TTCN-3 is a standardized, modular language specifically designed for testing. Eclipse Titan offers a free and open source (FOSS) compiler both for TTCN-3 and for ASN.1 (Abstract Syntax Notation One).

You can download the package with wget using this command:

wget https://www.dropbox.com/s/qkzdjefpp2ura11/eclipse-titan_5.3.tar.gz

More information about eclipse-titan can be obtained from https://github.com/eclipse/titan.core

This is the first upload so there isn’t any changelog.

Best Regards,
Gergely Pilisi
