Aah, I expect that the certification (binary) version of the test suite does not contain the MAN/tset directory, that is used by vrpt to put out further test description information. I've put a tgz file of the MAN hierarchy at ftp://ftp.rdg.opengroup.org/pub/lsb/ogdeliverables/doc/lsb-test-MAN.tgz To understand which bits of the FHS are optional its best to see the FHS specification at http://www.pathname.com best regards Andrew
