We at Caldera use GRUB as our standard boot loader, but 
still offer a lilo package to those, who want it.

If this clause of the FHS is meant to stay, ( *i do not think so* )
it should at least been reworded to:

   If lilo is installed, 
   o /etc/lilo.conf (on x86)
   o /etc/silo.conf (on sparc)
   o /etc/milo.conf (on Alpha)
   is present as its configuration file.
