Checking for Graphical User Interface directory ...

Hi,

Looking for the LSB directory to install our Graphical Interface: FTGUIX, I found that LSB proposes:
   FSF.

   FSF does not cover it in specific but advice "opt"

           http://www.pathname.com/fhs/2.2/fhs-3.12.html

   Actually the directory for KDE (for example) is :

       * RedHat simply: /usr/bin and /usr/lib for libs.
       * Mandrake:                            /opt/kde3
       * Caldera (old OpenLinux):   /opt/kde

   Sorry, I don't remember SUSE.

   However, XiGraphics CDE for Linux propose:

       /usr/dt (dt means desktop)

Because, the Graphical Interface is a subset of X Window (X11), I propose (and will use)

       /usr/X11R6/FTGUIX

Because this matter (GUI) is not standard it is better to belong to a directory hierarchy, then
   may be just in /usr/X11R6.

   Comments are welcome.

Thanks,
Giovanni
