Specification meeting

Stuart Anderson and several other people have raised the need for a
technical meeting to review the specification prior to the release of
version 1.0.  This meeting would probably last 2 days and would
effectively be open to anyone who could get to the meeting location
(undecided).  I can also probably find funding for a few representatives
from underfunded open source projects such as Debian so they are
represented.

The question is: if we schedule this within the first two weeks of
December, are there any _Linux_ events that might conflict with it?
