I suppose the most important thing might really be this:
There is no Reply-To: header anymore, so replies are, by default,

For Mailman lists, that is easily corrected by setting the following
option in the General Settings:

Very easy, problem solved, and yes, it's quite annoying. It's the 'old
school' way mail lists traditionally defaulted to back when it was
important to mimic the behavior of Usenet readers.
I think we're running majordomo here, so you set it in the config file
for the list. This is not without potential issues, however, and many
purists are against doing this due to various reasons, including the
possibility of mail loops, but we're already having that problem here,
and that's the most annoying thing I'm personally having to endure. I've
already posted once about isolating that subscriber and removing them
from delivery, but that went nowhere so I figure I'm just going to get a
bounce every time I post in perpetuity lolz.
Anyway, I've never had an issue with mail looping when setting the
"Reply-To" to the list, instead of the person whose post you're
responding to. To me it just makes sense, but we adapt accordingly, and
The Dude abides ;)
Here's some specifics on fixing this behavior on majordomo lists, with
mention of the caveats I've just addressed above:

I hope that helps :)
