Bug#968851: Apt does not remove temporary files it creates
Hello!
I noticed that `apt-cache policy` creates temporary files also in
`/var/cache/apt/` (`srcpkgcache.bin.xxxxxx` and
`srcpkgcache.bin.xxxxxx`), to then rename them (to `srcpkgcache.bin` and
`srcpkgcache.bin` respectively).
But when run as normal user this fails, but apt-cache does not remove
these files.
I do not know whether this is a problem with how my permissions are set
on `/var/cache/apt`, but I think that apt-cache should remove them anyway.
Please, let me know if you prefer me to create another bug for this issue.
Thank you,
