Dear Maintainer,
tried to install
skype-debian_4.1.0.20-1_i386.deb
according to
https://support.skype.com/en/faq/FA12120/getting-started-with-skype-for-linux
section for debian "7.0+ at 64-bit"
which failed due to missing packages:

# dpkg -i --force-architecture /tmp/skype-debian_4.1.0.20-1_i386.deb

Where do those instructions say to use ‘--force-architecture’ on this
deb? This is absolutely not necessary if you have m-a properly
configured, which the tail of your report seems to indicate.

i used --force-architecture since it worked with all older skype versions (32bit package) and other 32bit packages i needed (even from vanilla debian repos). i frequently attempted to use multiarch, but was constantly put off by the amount of bug reporst and complaints i found. sees, i was right all along and should have staid away from it.

i followed the description at skype.com since
a) the debian wiki page does not cover recbt skype
and
b) skype.com explicitely warned against a bug in debian multiarch
