how to avoid packages?

Hi folks,

Running a local set of meta packages I would like to
avoid certain packages during automatic installation,
even if they are recommended by others. Installing
a desktop PC I would like to avoid all the games
recommended by gnome or kde, for example, without
ignoring the Recommends lists of other packages.

Is there some way to implement this without blacklisting
the unwanted packages completely?

DPM doesn't tell, AFAICS.


Any helpful comment would be highly appreciated.
