Thanks for your patch! Looks fine so far :)
With a few added consts i have applied it to my branch a while ago [0]
and it is already part of the 0.7.26~exp1 (and 2) upload from yesterday. :)

btw: As you have done all the hard work it was far to easy to
add also an -a option - which many bugreports seems to refer to,
but was never actually requested - and a bit of documentation.

Good to see someone taking care of good old apt-ftparchive, so in
case you have more issues spotted and/or patches to fix them,
feel free to contact this list again! :)
