Bug#270301: apt-utils: Cache databases are always created mode 0644

Package: apt-utils
Version: 0.5.4
Severity: normal

Regardless of the FileMode setting the cache files are always created
with mode 0644. This causes problems when we have a group running the
archive.

I don't mind if this uses the same setting or a different one.

Thanks
Ian
