reassign 270865 apt
The bug, it would appear, is in the apt man page: it should
not promise what it can't deliver. As per the bug report:
The documentation for the "-y" switch on apt-get indicates:
Automatic yes to prompts; assume "yes" as answer to all
prompts and run non-interactively. If an undesirable
situation, such as changing a held package or removing
an essential package occurs then apt-get will abort.
Configuration Item: APT::Get::Assume-Yes.
In order for ucf to behave as if a y was pressed, ucf needs to
be told that it was running under apt, and that apt had been given
the -y option. This is not the case.
If God had wanted man to fly, He would have given him airline tickets.
