Bug#218232: /usr/bin/apt-get: [i18n] zh_TW mistranslation for apt-get string "Hit"
Package: apt
Version: 0.5.14
Severity: normal
File: /usr/bin/apt-get
-- System Information:
Debian Release: testing/unstable
Architecture: i386
Kernel: Linux libadm3 2.4.21-ow2 #5 SMP-libadm3 Wed Sep 3 17:16:47 EDT 2003 i686
Locale: LANG=zh_TW.Big5, LC_CTYPE=zh_TW.Big5
Versions of packages apt depends on:
ii libc6 2.3.2-8 GNU C Library: Shared libraries an
ii libgcc1 1:3.3.2-1 GCC support library
ii libstdc++5 1:3.3.2-1 The GNU Standard C++ Library v3
-- no debconf information
apt-get translates the word "Hit" as "接觸" (touch, contact, etc.).
This is a very strange translation for the meaning of "Hit" used
by apt-get (that the item in its cache is up-to-date).
