As I am able to reproduce this problem, I'll do. To get the message,
again, I downgraded to slang1=1.4.4-7 and slang1-utf8-dev=1.4.4-7. Then,
apt-get -u upgrade says:
root@sirith:~# apt-get -u upgrade
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
The following packages have been kept back
python1.5-dev slang1-utf8-dev
The following packages will be upgraded
slang1
1 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 2 not upgraded.
Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
slang1-utf8-dev: Depends: slang1-utf8 (= 1.4.4-7) but it is not going to be installed or
slang1 (= 1.4.4-7) but 1.4.4-7.1 is to be installed
E: Internal Error, InstallPackages was called with broken packages!
I'll sent you a tar archive containing the requested files in seperate
mail so it doesn't disturb the bug tracking system.
