Bug#29233: apt-0.1.7 fails when out of space in /var/cache/.
Package: apt
Version: 0.1.7
When trying to upgrade to the "frozen" slink using the apt-get method of
dselect, I received the following message:
Need to get 18.5M of archives. After unpacking 18.3M will be used.
Do you want to continue? [Y/n]
E: Sorry, you don't have enough free space in /var/cache/apt/archives/
[I have only 15M free in /var/cache/.]
The old dselect ftp method handles that situation just fine.
I think this might be a common problem for folks updating from bo.
