apt problems...
hello,
i am fairly new to debian and even more to apt....
i encountered already problems with dpkg/dselect that didn't want to install
certain packages (gmp2... very annoying...)
now i installed through .deb apt-0.1.6, went through the readme, made
apt-get update
apt-get upgrade
and the whole thing hangs now at :

and i do not really know what to do with that....

so whats going wrong? and how do i correct it? BTW is the graphical frond end
delivered with the distribution?if so how it is called?
And since i am here... to upgrade to slink, i suppose i have to add in the conf
file a line with the reference of a mirror. Do i have to do an upgrade after
that (apt-get -f dist-upgrade), or does it be enough to install all packages
from there? ~
