Apt & rsync
My brain just threw an idea up at me, and I figured this might be the
address to mail. :)
Could apt be made to use rsync ??
For example, if I have a package still in my package cache why couldnt apt
rsync the older .deb up to the newer version ?
I think plenty of people would be happy to trade off a bit of disk space
for much faster package upgrades.
rsync could also be used to update the packages lists.
