Yes - of course - but you know what i mean.

Controlling the volume of the different sources is really the minimum.
But there are different reasons to select a sound device.
1. You use XFCE as desktop on a laptop and you want to switch to an external device e.g. HDMI
2. You use an additional sound card as simple DA-converter for different purposes.

Please check the screenshot i posted first.
The 'active-card' property is missing in the Debian configuration!
How can i add it (correct) ?
