OK. xdm is not a working solution. It could maybe be mentioned in
README.Debian.

xfce4-session/README.Debian says:

There are two ways to enable user to shutdown the computer from Xfce:
 - use sudo, and allow user to run /usr/sbin/xfsm-shutdown-helper in sudoers
 - use policykit and a compatible login manager (gdm is known to work,
startx too if you use the tips above)

Is it correct to understand that it should work with sudo OR
policykit+gdm? If both must be used to enable user to shutdown,
the sentence should be something like "there are two conditions
so as to enable the user to shutdown the computer from Xfce".

If my comprehension is correct, my sudo is configured, and I
don't understand the problem.

If my comprehension is wrong, ok, I will adapt. Please patch the
README.

BTW, I suppose my other problem (about the suspend button which
is hidden) is also linked with my display manager, whether "sudo
pm-suspend" works or not. Can you confirm?

Thanks,
Benoit
