So, in vdpau-driver-all, libvdpau-va-gl1 should be removed because
it has always been broken (bug 1112130), and now, mesa-vdpau-drivers
should be removed too because it no longer exists, i.e. this leaves
a metapackage with no Depends and no Recommends!
This would mean that vdpau-driver-all should be removed and
libvdpau1 be updated accordingly.
If I understand correctly, nvidia-vdpau-driver will install NVIDIA
kernel modules, so that it is not acceptable as a Depends or
Recommends, which would imply that these modules would have to be
installed on all desktop systems: gstreamer1.0-libav is installed
at Debian installation time, and it depends on libavutil60, which
depends on libvdpau1.
