Bug#932375: UXTerm: reversion of colors won't work
The following doesn't help either:
$ cat .config/autostart/source_Xresources.desktop
[Desktop Entry]
Type=Application
Exec=xrdb -merge ~/.Xresources
Hidden=false
X-GNOME-Autostart-enabled=true
Name=Source Xresources
Comment=Source local .Xresources
$ cat ~/.Xresources
UXTerm*reverseVideo: true
$
No possibility to autostart local scripts any more?
