Damn,

I was under the impression that of the three major players, it was
intel and some yardsticks back AMD/Radeon which were helping with the
graphics stack.

I just bought an Intel 7th generation proc. based solution based on
this premise alone.

They do seem to do some things

but that's on BSD.

If I knew this before, maybe I would have looked at AMD-based
solution. It surely would have been cheaper and have graphics a bit
faster.
