Bug#756583: Most likely same with NVS 285
Hi all,
I probably have the same bug, as I have similar symptoms. If
it's not the same bug, please tell me and I'll open a new bug.
Configuration :
Jessie - plain - just upgraded from Wheezy
nouveau - from the packages
HP xw4600 Core2
NVS 285 (NV44)
VGA KVM - limited to 1024x768
1600x1200 LCD monitor - VGA input
The graphic console stays black. I'm able to switch to text
VT1 and see the GPU lockup message. When I switch to VT7, the screen
is all grey and I can see and move the mouse pointer. This is 100%
reproducible, i.e. I can never get to the gdm3 greeter.
The nvidia-legacy proprietary driver works fine.
