Yes, they seem to describe the same thing, maybe you should merge 595477.

I tried also
/etc/modprobe.d/nouveau.conf
options nouveau noaccel=1
and then
/etc/modprobe.d/nouveau.conf
options nouveau nofbaccel=1
but the results are worse in both cases: no text is readable, even in tty (and I had to blindly write to get back to original status). I guess that "boot with nouveau.noaccel=1" is equivalent to what I've done. Thanks anyway.
