In my experience, -rc3 kernels tend to be quite usable, and 3.3-rc3 has
been no exception so far here. :-)

The fix may or may not be backported to the Debian kernel (it does not look
like something Greg KH would take, but the Debian kernel team has less
strict requirements than he).  Your cooperation will certainly be needed.

Yes, but support for 3.3 will end long before Debian 7 is released, so
you will face the choice between running an EOL kernel with known
security bugs or entering the upgrade treadmill, i.e. switching to a new
major kernel version every 2.5 months until the next long-term kernel
comes out.
