Hi Steve,
sorry if you already received my last mail, but could you please justify severity critical for this bug?

Now that it is assigned to X, the report does not prevent a glibc migration from
happening starting in 5 days. If this bug warrants delaying glibc's
migration to wheezy, please inform the release team.

Furthermore, this report now prevents migration of xorg-server. Is this a regression?
So far nobody other than you reported experiencing this problem, and the bug seems to have no effect worst than preventing X startup.
