Bug#622308: Looks like this bug affects me too

I experience random text corruptions after upgrading to 2.6.38 kernel.
Rebooting back to 2.6.37 helps to get rid of the problem, so I didn't
hurry to report it.

Among submitted reports on text corruption this one looks the closest
to mine, so I'll post my message here.

I use Debian sid, kernel 2.6.38-2-686, xserver-xorg-video-intel
version is 2:2.14.902-1

My graphics card is, according to lspci:
00:02.1 Display controller: Intel Corporation Mobile 945GM/GMS/GME,
943/940GML Express Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 03)

Corruptions happen randomly, more frequently in firefox (they are
easiest to catch, that's why they are on attached screenshots), but
also at almost any other application: I've seen corrupted text in
sonata, transmission, nautilus. There are no compiz or any other
compositing manager running on my laptop, 3d works fine.

If there is any additional info needed, feel free to ask
