Package: xterm
Version: 6.8.2.dfsg.1-11
Severity: wishlist
File: /usr/share/doc/xterm/xterm.faq.gz

xterm.faq.gz says:

 How do I report bugs?

You should report bugs to me.

At the top of the file it says Thomas E. Dickey
Might that be dickey@his.com? That information is not something that
can be had from xterm.faq.gz.

No wonder. You can't just take xterm.faq.html and strip it into
xterm.faq.gz without creating such jokes. At least use lynx -dump. Or
perhaps just don't ship xterm.faq.gz.

Also in the xterm.faq.html be sure all the links are still valid.
There were even some local file:/// ones broken.

Hi,

well, compare both outputs. Not using -nolist generates a ugly
document. I'll live with the missing mail address, there's the html
document with the info, there's also common sense, and the Debian BTS
when everything failed. Which upstream tracks anyway.

Closing this bug accordingly.

KiBi.
