Exactly.  I had noticed this myself actually.

I plan to prepare a new snapshot when libdrm 2.4.24 gets released, there
have been API changes again.  In the meantime, setting

Option "WrappedFB" "true"

in xorg.conf should work around the problem (see nouveau(4) for
details).
