Bug#585911: display breaks on Lenovo W500 with KMS

I set modeset=1 explicitly. It still said modesetting isn't supported
in the Xorg.0.log. I got linux-image-2.6.32-5-686-bigmen from sid
(2.6.32-24) and rebooted and KMS worked. I did get 4 or 5 error
messages first thing in the boot messages at the top of the screen. I
couldn't write them all down before they scrolled off. They started out
something like this:

drm:[atom_op_jump] *ERROR* atombios stuck in loop for more than 1 sec
...

So, I don't know if setting modeset=1 explicitly is actually required or
if the sid kernel was all that was required.
