Bug#608357: On switching to compiz from metacity, only 2 workspaces are available

Package: compiz
Version: 0.8.4-4
Severity: normal

In Metacity, I can add as many workspaces, but when switching to Compiz, all
other workspaces except two disappears. All the open windows and applications
are forced to a single workspace.

Also, there is no option available to add new workspaces, when compiz is the
window manager.
