Bug#607767: Blank screen on starting X with Dual 2 GHz G5 and X800XT; DRM module not loading for radeon driver

The log file seems to end abruptly. Is the X server process still alive
when you grab the log file? If not, is there anything interesting in its
stderr output (should be captured in the gdm / kdm log file)?
