No, 3.5 does not use the buggy RENDER features; however, its *not*
using those features causes other problems.  Mozilla upstream (which I
am at least nominally part of) wants to start using better image
scaling, but can't as long as there are these driver bugs.

I need more detailed instructions than this.  For instance, I have no
idea where your git repositories are.
