The libdrm 2.4.23 release has already happened, earlier than I expected.
Since upstream broke the ABI (without changing soname, of course) as
well as the API of libdrm-nouveau, and a new nouveau snapshot depends on
the new API, I propose to proceed as following:
- Upload libdrm 2.4.23 to experimental, renaming the libdrm-nouveau1
package to libdrm-nouveau1a.
- When the FTP masters accept libdrm 2.4.23, upload a new nouveau
snapshot and a new mesa package with commit c25fcf5aa¹ cherry-picked
from master.
Does this sound like a reasonable plan?
Cheers,
Sven
