Apparently not :-/, the bug report¹ from a user of the xorg-edgers
repository was dismissed instantly. The excuse is always the same:
nouveau is marked as experimental, no release has been made yet, etc.

I pushed the changes to git, waiting for comments on IRC. On the bright
side, 3D performance seems to somewhat better now. At least I get more
FPS in etracer.
