Bug#601554: mesa: Please package 7.9. Needed for recent Intel drivers (Current experimental is incompatible with Intel)

Either you wait for it to be packaged, or you submit patches to make
it happen sooner. Just don't complain to distribution maintainers if
you break your stuff yourself.

That's nothing like compatibility. That's about keeping room to put
packages for users to test; that's why -video-intel in experimental
isn't built against X Server 1.9, yet; that's not being incompatible.

IOW that's what I suspected from your subject: you got it wrong.
