Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel Version: 2:2.9.1-2 Severity: important Certain opengl apps cause the Xserver to completely freeze. You can still ssh into the system but restarting the Xserver has no effect. This is the same bug as https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/501875 Some opengl applications seem to work fine but more gl intensive apps cause the freeze pretty quickly. (extreme tux racer has no problem but openarena always crashes very quickly) I followed the instructions at https://wiki.ubuntu.com/X/Troubleshooting/Freeze and will attach the results to this bug (if possible). I am upgraded to libgl1-mesa-dri/experimental libgl1-mesa-glx/experimental to try and compile the latest driver from intellinuxgraphics.org but 1) I couldn't get it to compile and 2) the behaviour is exactly the same under the unstable versions of the above packages. -- Package-specific info: /var/lib/x11/X.roster does not exist. /var/lib/x11/X.md5sum does not exist.
