Bug#457612: xserver-xorg-video-ati: x fails after update on testing. ppc ati 7500 graphics card

Sorry for the delay for some reason I could ssh out but not in. Anyway my adventures in the cli  are progressing and I got in eventually.

debian:/home/ok#  DISPLAY=:0 xrandr
Xlib: connection to ":0.0" refused by server
Xlib: No protocol specified

Can't open display :0
debian:/home/ok#

After starting X and getting a black screen, login by ssh from another
machine and run
   DISPLAY=:0 xrandr
and send me the output.
