Bug#480919: [xserver-xorg-video-intel] Please add an option to disable Xv textured video

Package: xserver-xorg-video-intel
Version: 2:2.3.1-1
Severity: wishlist

Hi,

I'm experimenting video tearing when playing a movie. I think this is due to

the xv textured video. I use xine for playing videos and it does not have an

option to select xv video port (mplayer has this option). Since this problem

appears to be related to the Intel driver, I think it is more easy to patch

the driver that other libs that use the default xv port.

Thanks

Waldo
