Are you using the latest xserver-xorg-video-ati from experimental (1:6.8.1~git20080417.c5d62fa0-1 as of today)? If not, please try it and see whether the backtrace is the same. Or (better), build the latest upstream git snapshot (let me know if you need help). Brice
