Bug#456007: xserver-xorg-video-intel: does not turn backlight on after resume on macbook3, 1

both debian and sid use native, when switched to legacy or kernel both show the same
behaviour, no backlight at resume but switching to VT and back to X the
backlight is on at full brightness though.
Using combination and switching to VT doesn't bring the backlight on, though
the machine is working.

Is there anything else I should check? like kernel fb drivers (I am using none
ATM)
