Bug#443274: dual-card setup doesn't work with X 1.4

Hi,
I have installed the deb package you have provided, and yes this thing causes the problem I am having. I am attaching the Xorg.0.log file for that session. I have tried disabling dri as well but that didn't work. I have both tried Setting disable "dri" in the modules section and option "dri" "off" in both devices section.

Ok I didn't see that before replying, thanks for testing.

Assuming you downgraded back to Xorg 7.2 and Xserver 1.3, could you try
the following old xserver-xorg-video-ati package? It's the same driver
for the old Xserver 1.3. It will help us know whether the problem is in
Xserver 1.4 or in the driver.
