We might end up requesting a new section if there is no satisfying
solution. I feel like some section to put various tools is missing. Not
being able to find a place for xclock looks strange to me. Even FVWM and
Window Maker applets both have their own section, having a section for
common widgets such a xclock might be better then.

Xconsole would actually call "xconsole -f /dev/xconsole" as requested in
an old bug report. People in the "adm" group should be able to see some
logs then.

It seems that xsetroot resets to the default background pattern when no
argument is given, that's what the old xbase-clients menu entry was
meant to.
