Bug#432802: Acknowledgement (compiz: Compiz intereferes with workspace switcher and window selector applets)

Additional information:

I have /apps/compiz/general/screen0/options/number_of_desktops set to 8, 
with hsize and vsize set to 1.  The workspace switcher does show all 8 
workspaces, but doesn't show anything in them except for the current one 
(which it does show as being properly selected).

Changing number_of_desktops changes the number of workspaces that appear 
in workspace switcher, just as one would expect.  Changing it to 1 
causes all windows in all workspaces to appear on the current desktop 
and in the workspace switcher, so it's pretty clear that compiz (or 
something) is aware of all the windows in the other desktops.
