Confirmed, the patch works for me.  Patched kbd_drv.so works as
"keyboard". I guess this patch might be useful to other distros too, if
upstream doesn't object then it's probably worth pushing upstream,
except if we do that then we'd want to rework the symlink into
the xorg install scripts rather than the debian package scripts.
